Robert is recognised as one of the UK’s leading chartered financial planners using technology and lateral thought to the ultimate benefit of his firm’s clients.
Robert has been a major contributor to the professionalism of the sector with his involvement in education since 1990 – In October 2008 Robert was the recipient of The Widows Lifetime Achievement Award for 2008, an award from Scottish Widows in recognition of the work he has done to improve the adviser industry. He is currently the Vice President of the Chartered Insurance Institute (www.cii.co.uk) and in 2013 was awarded the prestigious Chartered Insurance Institute Bridgewater award which recognises “exceptional and distinguished service” to the CII. Robert is the diversity champion for the Insurance Institute of London.
Robert is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII); an Associate of The Personal Finance Society (APFS), a Certified Financial Planner (CFP); and an Accredited Adviser with Resolution (www.resolution.org.uk ) all by examination.
Away from the office he enjoys golf, travel and watching Partick Thistle when he can. |

Since graduating from university in 2001, Mark launched himself into the financial services industry, currently studying towards a full financial planning certificate. His role in the office is one of importance, conducting the research process for the pre-planning stages of Syndaxi’s advisory services, as well as acting as a point of contact for Syndaxi’s employee benefits clients.
When outside the office, Mark enjoys both watching and playing a wide variety of sports. He also enjoys sightseeing breaks around Europe. |

Kim has over 30 years’ experience in UK financial services. She has provided consultancy support to over 90 financial services companies and is a Money Marketing columnist, industry judge and conference speaker. Outside of the office her passion is netball for which she plays, umpires and coaches. |

At Syndaxi Financial Planning Jo fills the role of Robert’s Personal Assistant dealing with everything from his appointments to admin not forgetting his travel arrangements.
Outside the workplace, she enjoys eating out, reading and lying on a beach provided it’s hot! |

Glenn has been with Black Hay since 2010 following a successful career as an Area Manager in Halifax Financial Services. He is married with two children, 1 grandson and a chocolate lab with attitude.Glenn specialises in Investments and Pensions and continues to study, recently receiving Pensions accreditations. He is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.As a crocked, overly enthusiastic amateur footballer he continues to reflect on glory days but spends his time watching Ayr RFC where he has been a member for the last 18 years. |
